This weekend was so incredibly busy. Remember I mentioned October being the beginning of mushy brain season? Yeah. I’m beat! But busy doesn’t mean it wasn’t enjoyable!

Our Saturday ended with attempted Christmas photos. Which were an epic fail. Last years went SO well. This year? Maddox screamed the ENTIRE time. Terrible twos? I’m ready for this stage to end. Tears and all. This guy was still cute as can be! And hopefully we got at least one decent picture for a Christmas card!

Amelia however, looked darling. And took some great photos! She even let me do a mini pre-shoot before we left!

We did pictures at Sebald park in Middletown! I had never been before! It’s a great little park! Beautiful scenery and really fun playground! Even mama got to play a little.

Sunday we took our Girl Scouts to Grandma’s Gardens in Waynesville! On the weekends, they have a “fall fun” activity set up. You ride a train around a pond, pick a pumpkin in the Sugar Pie pumpkin patch, and then decorate it with stickers and markers. They also provide a popcorn and juice for the little ones to enjoy! There are props set up all over the garden center to take pictures at, and an area with super friendly goats that LOVE to be pet! It was our first Girl Scout field trip and the they loved it! Being a Girl Scout leader has been such a rewarding adventure. I can’t wait to watch these girls grow into strong and courageous young ladies!

Amelia dressed up as a black cat! Her makeup turned out super cute! Can’t beat a $5 costume!

Our weekend technically ended today, as we celebrated Kyle’s 28th birthday! Not without a few curve balls of course. Between popped balloons, a missing cake, and a pizza order mix up, we’re lucky we had a party at all! But in the end, it was nice to celebrate our favorite guy in the world, the best way we could.

That’s a wrap! I hope you guys had a wonderful weekend! I’m ready to cozy up next to my crew tonight, and relax until work Wednesday!
